The standard of a medical trial is the controlled study. In a controlled study the doctor and patient do not know if they are receiving a sham treatment (none) or an actual microcurrent treatment. In the past it was difficult to enroll patients for this type of study since no one wanted to receive a sham treatment over a long period of time! We have now designed the study to last only three days and at the conclusion of these three days all patients will receive an active functional microcurrent machine.

in the trial will receive three days of treatment into a randomized protocol to

treatment groups:

No microcurrent
generated
2)
Single
channelÝ with only one frequency
3)
Biospecific digital microcurrent for ARMD
ÝEvery participant will receive a Biospecific digital microcurrent unit programmed for ARMD as
well as 3 follow-up appointments.Ý The
